This image I feel relates to the economic situation we were faced with in the Past Iraq war. In my personal perspective it is astounding that the idea of war profiteering is a new concept for most people i talk with. But i fear that Halliburton is not the first to conduct such a social crime. Since the dawn of warfare we have seen that Most in the upper crusts of society profit from the wars conducted and those at the bottom, fighting in the trenches, take the brunt of the burden. This Image very clearly states this. *In an almost mock-advertisement fashion, the cartoonist portrays his message vividly. I feel that the use of the two colors in a flat color scheme add to the mood and vividness of the cartoon. It clearly states a social message that many are conducting this war, not for the betterment of Iraq or the world, but for the betterment of their wallets and bank accounts.
